This place is absolutely incredible. We arrived in Bishop and were in a scramble for dinner after a long travel day. We read the reviews and decided to give it a try. It was even better than we expected in every way :) Not only was the food amazing and so authentic, George (owner) is the nicest and most hospitable person. He made our night so delicious, fun, and memorable. We will be going back many many times to try everything on the menu and just to hang out with George again - thank you!!
Super weird to see a food truck/trailer with house shingles. But it lured me in. Food is amazing, best Chile verde burrito I've had. Flour Tortilla is thin, burrito is packed full and the best part the contents are mixed, no half bites of just cheese and salsa. Staff is friendly and easy to make conversation with. This place is open late (10pm) and will always be on my stops list when in the area.
The food here is out of this world! Went for lunch one day, and came back the next day for lunch again. The tacos and quesabirria were incredible. The woman working the truck on Wednesday was so friendly and welcoming. 10/10!!
THIS IS THE BEST MEXICAN FOOD NORTH OF THE BORDER!!!! An unmissable stop, for real. Everything on the menu is so good, and the owner George is the kindest man in the whole world. I’ve eaten here several times, every time the food is reliably super bomb. LA BOMBA!! Don’t drive past here with an empty stomach.
Headed down the mountain after a blue bird morning on the slopes and found this gem! Enchiladas hit the spot, you can choose any meat you want for them, got the barbacoa and el pastor, plus a couple of cheese. Tacos were also fire, and love the roasted onions and jalapeño that came with the plates. I didn’t get his name but the señor was very charismatic and welcoming. A proper taste of Guadalajara and all at very reasonable prices. Goes without saying, I will be back.
We really enjoyed our visit! Fantastic food, several free samples, and the kindest owner ever. I felt like family when I ordered and the smiles and kindness makes this place extremely special. Stopped by this Mexican food truck in Bishop and it turned out to be one of the best meals of my trip! I had the vegetarian tacos, and the filling was absolutely amazing – fresh, flavorful, and satisfying. The salsa dips had the perfect spicy kick. The Mexican rice – hands down the best I’ve ever had! Perfectly seasoned and cooked just right. To top it off, the flan was smooth, light, and the perfect sweet ending to the meal. The owner was incredibly kind and even treated us to a piece of his best birria quesadilla, which was phenomenal. All of this delicious food came at a very reasonable price. If you’re anywhere near Bishop, this place is a must-visit!
